FORENSIC SCIENCE
Ridgeline Forensics founder, Nikki Wagar, is a latent print examiner and a crime scene analyst, with experience in bloodstain pattern analysis, forensic anthropology, validation studies, scientific research, and biometric database testing. She is particularly interested in researching the longevity of latent prints in variable environments and implementing more efficient methods within the forensic science community. She is a Certified Latent Print Examiner and Certified Crime Scene Analyst through the International Association for Identification (IAI) and has been working in both specialties for the past 15 years. Nikki began her career with the California Department of Justice, Bureau of Forensic Services and continued her presence in forensic science as a Forensic Analyst working for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon prior to transitioning to Ridgeline Forensics. She is the founder of Ridgeline Forensics and a previous instructor for Tritech Forensics Training division. Locally, she is a Past President, Membership Committee Member, and Webmaster of the Pacific Northwest Division of the IAI. She has a master’s degree in Forensic Science and has worked extensively on grant writing, accreditation preparation, and policy creation.
